Avela is looking for a contract data entry specialist to assist in daily updates of data. Successful candidates will be meticulous, detail-oriented, quick learners, and comfortable working with a remote team. We are looking for someone to start immediately.
Responsibilities include the following:
Export data from the Avela system to Excel CSV format
Copy and paste data into Google Sheets
Filter data exports
Upload CSVs to Avela system and take actions as needed
Proactively communicate in writing your daily progress and quickly raise inconsistencies or issues to Avela Client Services Team
This work is to be completed independently, no earlier than 2 pm PT and no later than 11 pm PT each day. We expect this work to take approximately 4 hours/day, 5 days/week (Mondays-Fridays). (In the beginning, this work may at times take longer than 4 hours/day as the candidate is onboarding). Additionally, candidate should have availability twice a week for a 30-minute virtual meeting sometime between 8 am and 3 pm PT (exact days/times are flexible).
We are looking for a commitment of at least 6 months for this role (there is some flexibility for time off/vacation). Priority will be given to applicants who can commit for 1 year.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Knowledge of Looker Studio preferred
Prior data entry experience and demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy
Ability to communicate clearly, work effectively independently, and proactively ask questions
Proven track record of integrity and conscientiousness with a demonstrated commitment to data privacy and security
An understanding of the importance of the work we do with school enrollment and the impact their work will have on students and their families
Legal ability to work in the USA, based in the USA
Compensation
Salary: $20/hour
